Can siblings be put on the same team?Yes, providied they are in the same age division. Can I request that my child have a specific coach? Normally no, because our program is based on volunteers and there is no guarantee that the coach will return. However, you can request for them NOT to be placed with a particular coach. What do I need to register my child in a Youth Sports Program and where do I register? Fill out an application, pay the registration fee, and provide proof of age. Registration for New River is located at the Station Gym (Bldg AS-202) Youth Sports office, located next to MCAS Bowling Center. Where can I find the rules for the program my child is enrolled in? A Letter of Instruction and copy of special rules can be picked up at the Youth Sports office. Can my child be on a friend's team for carpooling? Every attempt is made in the non-competitive leagues. However, in the competitive leagues, it is extremely difficult. In general, placement of players will not be considered for carpooling or friends. | CUSTOMER FEEDBACK | |||||||||||||||
| Who do I talk to about complaints or compliments? Your first step should be to speak to your coach. However, you may at any time contact Chris Miller, MCAS Youth Sports Coordinator at 449-6714. You may be asked to put your complaint/concern in writing in order for us to make a meaningful and professional decision, which will benefit our programs and young athletes who participate. How do I pass along compliments? Often, we tend to focus on the negatives and not on the positive contributions that our volunteers and employees have on the athletes. If you have a positive comment about a volunteer or employee, please put it in writing and send it to the appropriate Youth Sports Office. We will make sure your comments are delivered and proper recognition is made. TOP |
