MCCS Coordinators

Coordinators are experts on MCCS services and activities. The coordinator plans, develops, administers, and provides assistance for a balanced program of family readiness, recreational and leisure activities. Coordinators are the one stop shop in obtaining MCCS support. They will work with unit readiness and MCCS services and activities. They are responsible for assisting the Family Readiness Officer and Unit Commander in accessing critical services that will improve morale and mission readiness.

Lifestyles, Insights, Networking, Knowledge and Skills (L.I.N.K.S.)

L.I.N.K.S. provides information to all Marines and family members on the resources available and methods for meeting challenges of the military lifestyle. Session’s are available for Marines, spouses, children/teens, and parents/extended family member's of Marines. |
Life Skills Education and Training

LifeSkills Training provides connection to, or
facilitation of, various workshops in areas such as parenting, financial management, stress and anger management, and understanding personality differences. |
Readiness and Deployment Support

Offers education and resource to Family Readiness Officers, their commands, and the Marines and families on MCAS New River. Classes include deployment briefs for families and single Marines, While We Wait Club for school aged children with a deployed parent, and couples reintegration workshops. |
Family Readiness Officers (FRO’s)
Actively manage, coordinate and promote all matters pertaining to unit family readiness. Serve as the military point of contact concerning unit family readiness issues. Ensures command policy regarding information flow to families of single Marines is established and supported. FRO’s are familiar with all MCFTB programs. |
Family Readiness Support and Training

Offers services to assist commands in developing effective readiness programs while helping unit families become self-sufficient. Family Readiness Program Trainer offers training for Command Teams, Family Readiness Officers, Family Readiness Advisors, and Family Readiness Assistants on their roles and responsibilities in the Unit Family Readiness Program. |
Chaplain’s Religious Education Development Operation (CREDO)

The goal of CREDO is to help people grow toward increased functional ability, spiritual maturity, acceptance of responsibility, and to enhance readiness. CREDO offers 2 & 3-day retreats (personal, spiritual, women’s, marriage, teen and woman warrior), lodging, meals and transportation. |
