Tired of taking your Marines to the gym to play basketball or going out for a run? Looking for a different and exciting form of PT for your unit? Check out the hockey rink. We have gear that may be checked out to play deck hockey (no skating required). This is a fun and exciting form of exercise that everyone can enjoy while still getting a great work out.
The rink is regulation size for inline hockey games and is open year-round. Anyone can reserve the rink a day in advance. Youth leagues run from November to March and adult leagues run from April to June and August to October. More youth hockey information can be found on the youth sports page of this web site.
Adult pick-up hockey games run year-round at the rink. Pick-up games are Sundays at 1600 - 1900 and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1830 - 2030. All players wearing required gear are welcome to attend pick-up games. Gear required is helmet with at least a half shield, elbow pads, hockey gloves, knee/shin guards, mouth piece, sticks, and skates.
