 L.I.N.K.S. for Marine parents and extended family members focuses on parents and the extended family new to the Marine Corps community. The program offers an orientation to the Marine Corps lifestyle, helping the participant better understand the uniquechallenges military life often presents. With an increased level of understanding comes an increased ability to provide support and advice as the parent or family member of a Marine. For more information call 449-5343/4676.

 An open-ended eight (Orientation) or 16 week (Advanced) psycho-educational treatment program. This group is for males only. Referrals to this group are generally due to reports of an incident of relationship violence, but are not limited to such. The structured interventions, clear guidelines and philosophical orientation seek to equip men with a wider range of emotionally intelligent skills, allowing them to better deal with powerful relationship issues and thus always make the most responsible choices in regards to the management of conflict. Specific skills – training exercises, handouts, homework, and other resources are utilized. The intent is to provide a safe, therapeutic environment where focus is placed on belief systems re: male/female roles within emotionally committed relationships, mutual respect and consideration, communication skill-building, the enhancement of conflict management skills. The group intervention also seeks to expand one's awareness and understanding of the myriad of tactics that characterize an inequitable and abusive relationship, and most importantly, facilitate the extinction of same while infusing one's relationship with equality, unconditional support, mutual respect, and love.  An open-ended eight (Orientation) or 16 week (Advanced) psycho-educational treatment program. This group is for males only. Referrals to this group are generally due to reports of an incident of relationship violence, but are not limited to such. The structured interventions, clear guidelines and philosophical orientation seek to equip men with a wider range of emotionally intelligent skills, allowing them to better deal with powerful relationship issues and thus always make the most responsible choices in regards to the management of conflict. Specific skills – training exercises, handouts, homework, and other resources are utilized. The intent is to provide a safe, therapeutic environment where focus is placed on belief systems re: male/female roles within emotionally committed relationships, mutual respect and consideration, communication skill-building, the enhancement of conflict management skills. The group intervention also seeks to expand one's awareness and understanding of the myriad of tactics that characterize an inequitable and abusive relationship, and most importantly, facilitate the extinction of same while infusing one's relationship with equality, unconditional support, mutual respect, and love.
