Semper Fit offers a variety of programs geared to meet the needs of service members serving aboard MCAS New River. Our programs include intramural leagues, varsity sports, and All-Marine Team try outs. Participants must be a DoD employee, immediate family member, or active duty service member stationed aboard MCAS New River and 18 years of age or older to participate. For more information about our programs and guidelines regarding dependent participation please contact the Athletic Director.
INTRAMURAL SPORTS
Intramural Sports are offered for unit level participation. Before the intramural season for each sport begins, unit representatives attend an organizational meeting and form teams within their command. Individuals interested in participating in Intramural Sports should contact their unit representative. If your unit does not have a team involved in the sport you wish to participate in, you may participate with another unit team within your Major Command. Official Team Rosters and Letter of Intent forms can be picked up and turned in to the Sports Office located in the New River Fitness Center (AS-4000). Dependents 18 and over are also eligible toparticipate in these sports.

VARSITY SPORTS
Varsity Sports are offered to individuals who have demonstrated they can compete at a higher level of competition. Individuals may request to attend a tryout camp (if offered) or submit a resume outlining your experience and accomplishments in the subject sport if a tryout camp is not offered. Individuals interested in participating in a Varsity Sport may contact the Sports Office for the Regional, All Marine, and
Armed Forces Competition schedule.
